Alapan II Elementary School was established on June 17, 1985 it has total land area of 7, 608 sq. m. The land was donated by the Municipality of Imus.

            It was a primary school when it was first opened with two classrooms as an annex of Alapan I Elementary School, then later named Alapan II Elementary School when it became a complete elementary.

            As an annex to Alapan I Elementary School it went under the supervision of different principals of the same school: Mrs. Avelina Remulla, Mrs. Norma Sanchez, and Mrs. Irene Pinpin.

            Teachers-In charge supervised the school when it became a complete elementary: Mr. Romeo del Mundo, Mrs. Leonora Santarin, Mrs. Julita Cajapin, and Mrs. Leonora Pantorgo. In December 2007, Head Teacher III Mr. Marciano Valles came in December 2007 until his reclassification as Principal I the following year. The school has been under the supervision of Mrs. Milany de Guzman on June 2012 till June 2013. Mrs. Danilyn Siwa appointed as OIC on July 2013 till March 2014.

           

          On March 22, 2014, a Special Order to serve as Principal of Alapan II Elementary School was given to Mrs. Maria Luisa F. Candelaria (HT III of INHS-Main and 2011 passer of National Qualifying Exam for School Heads (NQUESH) by Dr. Lualhati O. Cadavedo (PSDS/OIC, Office of the Schools Division Superintendent) of the Division of Imus City.

            The school started with only one (1) teacher  in the name Ms. Aquilina Lontoc handled Grade 1 and 2 level, a month after Ms. Marilyn B. Santos was added and assigned to teach Grade 1 class. Luckily, every year was added with one teacher to handle the additional grade level until it completed  Grade 1 to Grade 6 level.

 

     The first building was donated by the Government of the United State, the second by the Cavite Government, The EPP, He by the Local School Board, the Library and the Science Room by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce. The stage was donated by the Domeng Caldejon, a successful man who migrated to the United States.

 

     The expansions of building added since enrollees of Alapan 2 Elementary School expanded every year. Now, our school is under construction of a 4 story building with 8 classrooms funded by the National Government. Two years ago 4- story classroom was built funded by the National Government. Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce also donated a 2 story - building with 4 classrooms on that same year.

 

    At present, the school has 1581 enrolled pupils, 41 teachers headed by Principal 2 Ma. Rosalyn M. Pagtakhan, with 12 instructional classrooms. The rapid increase on enrollment has paved way to the arise of problems and challenging tasks in the school setting. The settlement of  the nearby subdivision, Parksville Residences, Mosaito Homes, Lancaster Villages has contributed to the growth of school’s population. The increase in enrollment in the latest school year can be attributed to several factors such as urban migration, economic indicators answer school’s proximity to the low cost housing projects, parental and / or personal choices and many other reasons.

 

     With regards to teachers, all are nationally funded, one of them is a newly promoted Master Teacher 1, four are promoted as Techer II through ERF. and 36 are in Teacher I position.  In terms of educational attainment most of the teachers are presently pursuing their Master’s degree.

 

     Alapan II Elementary School students, teaching and non-teaching personnel; together with the School Governing Council commit themselves in realizing the Department of Education’ Vision, Mission and Core Values.
